I got up at half past seven and I went to the school at eight o´clock.The bus left at a quarter past eight.We arrived to the salt mines two hours later. It was great,we went inside and it was incredible because it was very big and beautiful. Our guide gave us helmets to put on because it was dangerous and we put on the helmets to protect our heads. I took a piece of salt from the wall of the mine and licked it - it was very salty. I learned a lot of things about this mineral. It was interesting. After seeing the mines we went to visit the castle of Cardona. We saw the church and walked around the castle. Then we had lunch in the centre of the town before leaving again for Barcelona. We got back to school about four o'clock. Then I went home. I really enjoyed my day out and I learnt lots of interesting things.
